Princess Beatrice is smitten with her husband Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi, as evident by their stroll through London on Thursday.
Taking a pause from their usual refined royal style, the couple stepped out for a quick grocery run at Marks and Spencer in laid back looks—at least, their definition of laid back. Beatrice opted to layer a denim button-up over a black slip dress, keeping the blouse fully buttoned to keep her ensemble polished. As she was running errands, however, she styled her outfit with a pair of white leather Veja sneakers that boasted chunky velcro straps.
For the casual occasion, Beatrice swept her blonde hair up in a messy bun, and went for a makeup-free look. She seemed to carry her phone in her hands, and laughed as she strolled next to her husband. They each bore an ear-to-ear smile, and Edoardo matched his wife’s effortless ensemble with a distressed red baseball cap, white button-up, and navy trousers. He also sported a pair of white leather sneakers, and carried their groceries in a reusable tote bag.
Together, the couple looked like any other pair you might encounter on the street, although their romance is anything but ordinary. Since they went public with their relationship in 2019, their whirlwind relationship has seen Mapelli Mozzi commission a bronze figurative sculpture for his then-girlfriend, as well as gush about her on social media. After the two were wed in a private ceremony—less than a year after they first announced their engagement—Mapelli Mozzi also revealed to the Financial Times that “an object I would never part with is my wedding ring.”
