Pizza Delivery Worker Accused Of Stabbing Pregnant Customer 14 Times Over Small Tip

The worker, identified as 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, is now facing serious charges after being accused of stabbing a customer 14 times over a tip she deemed insufficient.

According to a press release from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Alvelo was enraged after delivering pizza and receiving only a $2 tip on the order.

The delivery took place at the Kissimmee Hotel in Florida, where Alvelo handed over an order totaling $33.10. The victim initially paid with $50 and requested change. However, Alvelo reportedly told the customer it was against the restaurant’s policy to provide change. The customer then exchanged the bills, leaving Alvelo with a $2 tip. According to the victim, Alvelo “rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything.”

After returning inside with her pizza, the victim continued celebrating with her boyfriend and her five-year-old daughter. Later that night, while the family was asleep, Alvelo allegedly returned with an unidentified male suspect, both of whom forced their way into the room armed with a firearm.

The male suspect reportedly confined the boyfriend to the bathroom and destroyed his phone, while Alvelo allegedly searched the room for valuables. During this time, the victim tried to shield her daughter from harm.

When nothing of value was found, Alvelo allegedly turned on the victim, attacking her with a pocket knife. The victim sustained 14 stab wounds during the assault. According to the victim, Alvelo only stopped stabbing her when the male suspect told her it was time to leave. The victim stated that she believed Alvelo was “trying to kill her.”

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and the victim was taken to a hospital. She was treated for serious injuries, including a punctured lung, and learned she was a few weeks pregnant during her hospital stay. Fortunately, she is now reported to be in stable condition.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office released an official statement about the incident, which included: “It was discovered that the victim had ordered pizza from a local restaurant earlier in the evening, and Alvelo became upset about the tip she had received.”

A representative from Marco’s Pizza issued a statement to News 6, expressing their condolences and addressing the attack: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred. The local owner and his team are fully cooperating with local authorities, who have launched an investigation into the matter.”

They added: “The safety and well-being of customers and team members are always our top priority, and we are taking this incident very seriously.”

Alvelo is currently being held in the Osceola County jail, with bail set at $55,000 (£43,927). Authorities are still investigating the incident, and the male suspect remains unidentified. Alvelo is now facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping, and aggravated assault with a weapon
