There was a whole lot of prime-time singing Wednesday night. Celine Dion had her Home for the Holidays special on CBS. Michael Buble had his 3rd annual Christmas special on NBC, which also aired The Sing-Off. Fox had The X Factor finale. Even The CW got into the mix, with its iHeart Radio Jingle Ball. Buble’s special and X Factor tied, with both shows getting 5 million viewers and a 1.3 rating. That’s an all-time low for a non-special Wednesday night episode of Factor, down 52 percent in the demo from last year. The fate of the show is still uncertain, with Simon Cowell confirming to reporters on the Factor red carpet last night that judge Demi Lovato is indeed exiting.
